Journal of Language And Communication |

Nawa Journal of Language and Communication is a |
| journal published bi-annually by the Department of |
| Communication, Polytechnic of Namibia. It is a |
| peer-reviewed journal whose goal is to advance |
| knowledge in human language and communication |
| The journal publishes academic articles dealing |
| with practical researches, pedagogical |
| methodologies, critical analyses and theoretical |
| perspectives in language and communication, |
| and, related disciplines such as |
| linguistics, literature and information and communication technologies (ICTs) . The |
| interdisciplinary nature of the journal encourages research without boundaries in the |
| Arts, Humanities , and related areas. |

| Call for Submission Of Articles And Book Reviews |
| NAWA invites submission of Articles/Book Reviews to be considered for publication. |
| *Deadlines* for receipt of submissions each calendar year : * 30 March* for the |
| June issue and * 31 August* for the December issue. |
| |
| Guidelines for contributors |
| 1. |
Authors should strictly use the MLA style of referencing. |
| 2. |
Articles should be in English and between 4000 and 6000 words in length. Book |
| |
reviews should be between 800 and 1200 words long. |
| 3. |
All articles must be typed using Microsoft Word and must be double spaced. |
| |
Contributors should provide their full names, title(s), and addresses on their |
| |
articles. For the purpose of blind reviewing, the contributor's identification will be |
| |
removed. |
| 4. |
Authors are urged to use language that communicates easily and to avoid the |
| |
use of esoteric jargon. |
| 5. |
Submission of articles and book reviews must be done as attachments using |
| |
the e-mail address provided in number 9 below. |
| 6. |
All contributors are required to supply their biographical information in 75 words. |
| 7. |
Successful contributors will each receive one copy of the journal. |
| 8. |
Authors are not allowed to send articles that have either been accepted for |
| |
publication or published elsewhere. |
