| The need for technological advancement in the context of the global economic growth is one of the driving forces of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET). The major aim of DTVET is to equip current and future vocational instructors/teachers with the necessary methodologies to transfer vocational knowledge and skills to potential vocational trainees. The training provided adheres to national and international standards. |

| The Department offers Certificate, Higher Certificate and National Diploma (ND) programmes to already qualified skills persons in various designated trade areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil, secretarial and or people involved in education and training in numerous other areas. |
