Lecture sessions will be held on Saturdays. The schedules (dates and times) will be communicated in January 2012. It is imperative that students attend lectures because critical learning takes place here. It is required that students attend at least 80% of the lectures as this can have a serious impact on their performance. Saturday classes will be offered at the local learning support centre for approximately 20 weeks of the year.

Formal tests which tie in with study materials covered in tutorials will be written on a Friday morning and afternoon.

This will provide students with an opportunity to assess their progress as well as give the lecturers an opportunity to review student attempts and provide them with direct feedback on improvements to their examination and communication skills.

Assessment is done in conjunction with UNISA
