Supports faculties and staff to integrate international perspectives, operations and outreach into existing curricula |

| Departmental Activities |

| Strategic Planning: |
| The Department prepares the Institutional Self-study and translates institutional needs into achievable objectives. It compiles the needs-related five-year strategic plan in concurrence with the Polytechnic Community. The Department is further responsible for the annual institutional action plans and mid-term reports. The aim of the strategic planning process is to augment and sustain institutional growth to eventually gain the university of applied sciences and technology status. |

| International Relations |

| The Polytechnic is committed to offer local and internationally recognized qualifications and to produce competent professionals. By the end of the year 2010, the Polytechnic had over 80 reciprocal international partnerships. Each partnership contributes to specific institutional objectives and is instrumental in contributing to the international standards and recognition of the institution and Namibia. |
