  Job Placement Services
This section provides students with career guidance. It incorporates counselling as a helping relationship and counselling as the means of psychological intervention. Job placement service provides the following career guidance development workshops: (1) CV Writing. It also provides the following career guidance programmes: (1) Career Fair; (2) Mock Interviews; and (3) Premier Graduate Recruitment.

Career Guidance Development Workshops:
CV Writing
The CV writing workshop focuses on assisting students to compile comprehensive and well-researched curriculum vitae, which reflects a clear and concise summary presentation of the applicant's educational background, work experiences and extra mural activities. The CV Writing workshop consist of components such as cover and thank you letter writing, job hunting skills and interview preparations.

(i) Cover and Thank You Letters
It aims at equipping the student with the knowledge on how to write proper cover and thank you letters.

(ii) Job-hunting skills
Job-hunting skills are a pre-requisite in the never-ending quest for employment. Students are provided with the skills to penetrate the competitive world of employment.

(iii) Interview preparation
By conducting mock interviews, students get a sense of how a real interview will be conducted. It prepares students in terms of how to respond to possible interview questions, how to dress for an interview and body language.

Job Placements Services Program(s):
Career Fair
The Career Fair is an annual event which provides a platform for Polytechnic students to meet prospective employers in Namibia . During the course of the academic year, Career Guidance Development workshops are offered free of charge to assist students in terms of CV writing, job hunting skills and interview preparations. During the Career Fair, students approach the exhibitors for possible employment opportunities. The Career Fair also serves as a recruitment drive of high school students who are in grade 11 and 12 and who are interested to join the Polytechnic, should they qualify.

Mock Interviews
An impressive CV with a short and precise outline of one's life history will give one the edge to make the shortlist before anybody else, although the interview should of course sell the real you behind the piece of paper. Interviews gives one a chance to defend why one might be the best to be considered. Mock interview is a platform created for the students, to asses them and thereafter to equip them with the necessary skill and knowledge with regard to interviews as there is no job that will be entered without attending an interview. The objective is to give students a sense of how a real interview will be conducted, prepare them about dress code, body language and how to respond to possible questions during the interview. The interviews are scheduled to take place in October of each Academic year.
